En organisatorisk modell som fungerer som en veiviser for å initiere, planlegge og implementere prosessforbedringer. IDEAL-modellen har navnet sitt etter de engelske ordene for de fem fasene som beskrives: "initiating, diagnosing, establishing, acting and learning".
