Een meta gebruikers- of bedrijfseis die gewoonlijk binnen agile softwareontwikkeling wordt gebruikt, meestal bestaande uit één zin in dagelijks- of zakelijk taalgebruik waarin wordt vastgelegd welke functionaliteit een gebruiker nodig heeft en de reden hierachter, eventuele niet-functionele criteria en ook acceptatiecriteria worden vastgelegd.
