# One-click citations, and a glossary machines can read

A quiet week, but a good one: the biggest change is for anyone who writes about software testing — and a few smaller ones for anyone who pulls the glossary into their own tools.

**Cite any term in one click.** If you have ever copied a definition from this site into a paper, a report, or a study guide, you have probably typed out the reference by hand — author, year, title, URL, and the date you looked it up. Every [term page](/acceptance-testing/) now does that work for you. Scroll to the bottom and you will find a ready-made APA citation with a Copy button next to it. One click, and the whole reference is in your clipboard. The box speaks ten languages — English, German, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Czech, Swedish, Russian, and Japanese — because citation styles differ between languages, and a mechanical translation was never the point. The citation credits the ISTQB, since the definitions are theirs.

**Search engines got new clues.** Term pages now carry structured data for their definitions, and pages that explain commonly confused pairs — like [verification](/verification/) and [validation](/validation/) — mark up their frequently asked questions so the answers can surface directly in search results.

**A glossary that machines can read.** If you pull terms into your own notes or tools, there is now a plain-text version of every term page, plus a single machine-readable index of the whole glossary. The pages you see look and work exactly as before — but tools and assistants that cite the glossary now have a cleaner way in.

That is what changed this week. As always, if something is missing or could work better, the door is open.
